News25for25-daytonaprovidesforpets189149186

On June 8, 2018, Daytona Homes Edmonton dropped off pet supplies and donations to Boyle Street Community Services and Second Chance Animal Rescue!

Our Edmonton staff went down to Boyle Street Community Services and brought them a ton of pet supplies and a donation of $1000 to buy even more when they run out! After they headed to Sadie's Pet Stop to drop off a $500 donation for Second Chance Animal Rescue Society and play with some of the puppies that SCARS has helped! It was a wonderful day and we'd like to give a huge thanks to everyone who participated with these great causes today and to Trident Wholesale Pet Supplies Ltd for giving us 10% on all of the supplies we bought for Boyle Street!

Boyle Street Community Services has been working in the inner city of Edmonton since 1971 to serve, support, and empower people to take control of their lives and escape the cycle of poverty and homelessness. Boyle Street Community Services provides 39 programs and services to over 9000 individuals every year.

Second Chance Animal Rescue Society (SCARS) is a non-profit Edmonton and Athabasca based registered charity that is almost entirely volunteer operated. SCARS helps communities by taking in pets that are unwanted or slated for euthanasia. They also take in stray and abandoned pets, many of which are sick or injured. They find loving homes for more than 1,000 pets every year.
