WE DID IT!
All of Daytona Homes staff, communities and partners came together to celebrate our 25th year. We wanted to do something really different, and we are very proud of the results! We got to partner with so many community organizations this year, helping them give more to the communities they serve.
We felt it was the best way to celebrate 25 years of building communities for families where we serve.
For all the partners and people who worked with us and supported us along the way with this campaign, THANK YOU!
For our 25th charity activity, Daytona Homes Edmonton team partnered with West Edmonton Mall in support of the Spirit of Christmas Shoebox campaign.
The entire team met at WEM, and with the help of Cosmo and a few WEM friends, put together gifts for school kids and families who could use a little help this holiday.
Shoeboxes were filled with toothbrushes, gloves, hats and other necessities, but everyone made sure to pack lots of fun things inside as well! From toys to puzzles to Legos and games, no fun was left behind!
We dropped 150 boxes off at Lexus of Edmonton, who with other local businesses and individuals, provide 450 boxes to inner city schools each year for Christmas.
The Spirit of Christmas Shoebox Campaign was founded by Debra Kasowski an Edmonton business coach, author and keynote speaker.
This campaign has been in operation for 10 years, and we were really excited to work together to give presents to kids in a local school. You can find out more information about the campaign here.
